  1. In this Year 2025, the Universal Church celebrates the Jubilee Year, and the theme is “Pilgrims of Hope”. The Diocese has specially produced a Jubilee Pilgrimage Handbook, which includes information concerning “Jubilee Year Indulgences”. By fulfilling the basic conditions and performing the works prescribed, you may gain Jubilee Year plenary indulgences. Please take a copy and make good use of the handbook.
  2. On Tuesday, 28 January, the Lunar New Year’s Eve Mass will take place at 8:00pm. The 6:00pm weekday mass will be cancelled. On Wednesday, 29 January, there will only be one mass celebration at 9:00am for Lunar New Year’s Day. On Thursday, 30 January, the Second Day of Lunar New Year, the Eucharistic Adoration at 7:00pm will be cancelled.
  3. There are still limited copies of “Daily Gospel 2025” and the first quarterly issue of Living Faith (from January to March) available. These spiritual booklets can accompany you to walk together with God’s guidance and direction through His Word. Purchases can be made at the Parish Office.
  4. The Parish’s five Chinese catechumenate classes for adults continue to recruit new comers. All parishioners are invited to share good news with relatives and friends who do not yet know Jesus and welcome them to attend our catechism classes.
  5. The Diocese will hold a walkathon in Tung Chung on Sunday, 23 February, to raise funds for the construction of a new church in Tung Chung and supporting Catholic cemeteries. We encourage parishioners to join the event together with family members and friends for a meaningful cause. Participation and sponsorship forms can be obtained from the Parish Office. You can also place donations in the designated collection box at the St. John Bosco Foyer or make online donations directly to the Diocese. Please refer to the poster for details.
  6. The Hong Kong Central Council of Catholic Laity has produced Jubilee Year Lai See packets and Chinese New Year couplets for distribution to our parishioners. All are welcome to obtain at the Parish Office Reception area and offer donations.
